Preservice training

Preservice training

Employees at licensed and approved child care programs are required to complete preservice training before beginning job duties. Preservice is meant to give new employees an overview of Child Care Licensing (CCL) rules and introduce important health and safety topics.

Preservice training is completed at your own pace, but is around 2-½ hours in length.

Anyone is welcome to complete this training, but this module does not count as a review of rules and requirements for annual or ongoing training. For training resources that can be used toward annual and ongoing training, see our noninteractive training resources.
